Triamcinolone

Triamcinolone is a synthetic steroid that downregulates expression of VEGF and exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic activities; it is an agonist at glucocorticoid receptors. Triamcinolone is clinically used to treat retinal edema and other ocular pathologies and may cause ocular hypertension.
