Nitisinone
Nitisinone is a nitrobenzene inhibitor of HPPD, an enzyme involved in tyrosine degradation. Nitisinone is clinically used to slow the effects of hereditary type 1 tyrosinemia and as a potential treatment for alkaptonuria.
