Sulfadoxine

Sulfadoxine is a sulfonamide anti-parasitic that inhibits dihydropteroate synthase, preventing folate synthesis and increases blood oxygen levels. Sulfadoxine exhibits antimalarial activity and is typically given with pyrimethamine.
