Ramatroban
Ramatroban is a thromboxane A2 (TxA2) receptor inhibitor that exhibits anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. Ramatroban also competitively inhibits chemoattractant receptor-homologous molecule on Th2 cells (CRTH2), a relatively new prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) receptor. Ramatroban decreases expression of inflammatory mediator IL-16 and also inhibits expression of adhesion molecules and prevents infiltration of immune cells.
