Racecadotril
Racecadotril is an inhibitor of enkephalinase that prevents degradation of endogenous opioids and decreases secretion of water and electrolytes in the intestines. Racecadotril exhibits anti-secretory and antidiarrheal activities and is clinically used to treat diarrhea.
