D-Sphingosine
D-Sphingosine is an endogenous component of sphingolipids that exhibits antibacterial activity against many gram positive and gram negative bacteria such as Escherichia, Staphylococcus, and Corynebacterium. D-Sphingosine also inhibits PKC.
